There will be music on the street throughout most of the day in front of the Trade Street Coffee House and Merle Norman, with a special appearance of the Lone Derangers in the Shops of Tryon&squo;s parking lot.

Pre-festival activities kicked off last Friday with a public art installation titled &uot;Tie one on with Tryon&uot; (see front page photo) which also included a tie coloring competition for young folks.
