Pauline Burns
She was the widow of the late Rev. Copher W. Burns.
Mrs. Burns was born in Spartanburg County. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Thompson and Hattie Hall. She is survived by five sons, Mr. Copher Warren Burns, Mr. Charles Eugene Burns, Rev. John Burns, Mr. William Burns and Mr. Louis Burns; six daughters, Rev. Priscilla Allen, Mrs. Marie Anderson, Rev. Bernice Suber, Rev. Sharon Brown, Ms. Regina Burns and Ms. Sandra Burns; two brothers, Mr. Willie Thompson and Mr. James Thompson; one sister, Mrs. Ida McDowell, 25 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The service will be held Thursday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at the St. Luke CME Church in Tryon.
Cannon & Sons Mortuary, Landrum, is in charge of arrangements.
