She is survived by a niece, Judy Smith of Columbus; a nephew, Johnny Condrey of Columbus; sisters, Mary Spangler, Vernell McDowell; brother, Wayne B. Barnette of Green Creek. She was predeceased by brothers, William Earl Barnette and George Barnette; sisters, Jessie McEntire, Louise Foster, Mayo Condrey and Doris Peeler.

Funeral services for Mrs. Swain will be held at Green Creek First Baptist on Friday, March 20 at 2 p.m.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday, March 20, 2009.
