Helen Euler

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie Schrader Vath.&bsp; She was the widow of Walter Euler who died in 1991. Mrs. Euler moved to Polk County, in 1972 from Baldwin, Long Island, N.Y.&bsp; She was a volunteer at St. Luke&squo;s Hospital, Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry, and Habitat for Humanity, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #290 in New York. She was a member of the Tryon Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons; George Euler (Florence) of Patchogue, N.Y., and Richard Euler (Suzanne) of Coral Springs, Fla.; one sister, Margaret Wasilchuck of Oyster Bay, N.Y.; two granddaughters Amy Euler and Kristen Euler; one grandson, Erik Euler; one great-granddaughter, Kendall Euler and one great grandson, Andrew Euler.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in the Tryon Presbyterian Church with Rev. J. Hunter Coleman officiating.
Interment will be in the Tryon Presbyterian Church Memorial Gardens.
