Members of the Korean War Veterans Chapter 265 North Carolina hold a ceremony last Thursday to honor Medal of Honor recipient Bryant Homer Womack at his gravesite at Lebanon Methodist Church in Polk County.&bsp; His gravesite is in the foreground. Womack will be one of the soldiers honored in a Korean War veterans memorial for North Carolina that&squo;s been proposed by the Korean War Veterans Chapter 265. The nonprofit organization says the memorial will cost about $250,000 and it has raised about $75,000 so far. For more information visit www.nckwmemorial.org.
