Vance Morris

Mr. Morris was born in Campobello on October 29, 1914, the son of the late William Ervin and Mattie (Wolfe) Morris. He was the widower of Iva Sue (Green) Morris.

He is survived by one daughter, Joyce Simmons of Moore; one son, Jesse Morris of Campobello; one sister, Frances Storey of Landrum; one grandson, Wally Gregory of Weston, Conn.; two great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren and a special nephew.

Mr. Morris retired from Bommer Industries and was a farmer and was a member of North Pacolet Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, S.C., at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009, with Rev Tommy Turner and Chaplain Michael Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in North Pacolet Baptist Church Cemetery, Campobello.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Journey to Hospice, 420 The Parkway, Suite N, Greer, S.C. 29650.
