W.T. Edmonds

He was the widower of Cora Mae Edmonds and the son of the late Sheldon and Bessie Gosnell Edmonds. Mr. Edmonds served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was retired from Champion Paper Company and was the former owner of Edmonds Landing. He attended Mountville Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, William T. Edmonds of Columbia, S.C.; four daughters, Marie Gayle Greene of Spartanburg, SC, Carolyn Faye Edmonds of the home, Janice Kay Pierce of Texas, and Rebecca Ann &dquo;Becky&dquo; Edmonds of Cross Hill; three sisters, Lois Melton of Campobello, S.C., Inez Culbreth of Whitmire, S.C., and Bessie Mae Quinn of Inman, S.C.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a sister, Dovie Underwood.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Shiflet and Dr. David Lancaster. Burial followed at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
