He was the son of Gerald and Frances Pace Tucker of Landrum.&bsp; He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Matthew Tucker of Landrum; a daughter, Tonya Tucker of Landrum; two brothers, Kenneth Tucker of Inman and Terry Tucker of Landrum; two sisters, Patsy Towery of Campobello and Cathy Greene of Rutherfordton, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 9 at Petty Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. George Jeffries. Burial was at Highland Church of God of Prophecy.
