Warrants have been issued for Sammy Allen on charges of felony breaking and entering and larceny. Allen&squo;s brother, Hubert Lee Allen, 34, of 1136 Grassy Knob Road in the Sunny View area, was arrested by Rutherford County and is being held there on illegal drug charges.

Charges in Polk County are also pending for Sammy Allen, according to Det. Tracy Aldridge of the Polk Sheriff&squo;s Office.

Aldridge says on Jan. 28 a larceny report was filed from a residence on Grassy Knob Road, and on Jan. 29 a separate residence on Grassy Knob Rd. reported a breaking and entering.

In speaking with informants, Aldridge said his office learned that the stolen property from both residences was seen at another Grassy Knob Road residence.

After a search warrant was obtained, officers found the property from both residences as well as unidentified property.

The unidentified items include chainsaws and other materials. Anyone who has been victim to&bsp; thefts in the area should contact Det. Aldridge at 828-894-3001 to claim.
