She was the daughter of Claude and Annie Guyton. She is survived by one brother, Billy Guyton of Gaffney, three daughters, Vicky Edwards, Janice Palmer, both of Pacolet, and Patsy Thomas of Campobello, one son, Gene Fowler of Jonesville, S.C., five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at Tate Memorial Baptist Church in Pacolet at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009.
