Polk County starts 2009 2-0 with win over Avery

The Wolverines are healthy, fresh and winning on both sides of the ball.
Polk County beat Avery on Friday night 63-47.
Kamron Kerr has returned to the Polk Countly lineup after a football injury sidelined him for the first half of the season.
Now Kerr is back and making up for lost time. On Friday night, the senior guard led the Wolverines with 17 points, five rebounds and six assists.
He&squo;s scoring and giving others the opportunity to make plays.
Shawn Gary scored nine points and Trenton Carson and Landon Schlabach scored seven points each.
Heath Culbreth, Parish Gary and Kasey Jackson scored six points each. Andre Overholt added four points and Jeffery Bontrager added one point.
The Wolverines don&squo;t have a game tonight, but will play at Owen on Friday night.
