According to 911 calls, the victim was located in the pond with his dog, which was found dead.

EMS officials say they transported the victim to Rutherford Hospital and the man&squo;s condition was unknown as of yesterday.

Apparently the man spent the day in the pond. He appeared to have been trying to retrieve his dog, which was killed in a beaver trap.

Green River Plantation is located off Coxe Road near the Rutherford County line.
