Landrum boys advance to Championship at Shootout

The Landrum boys basketball team remained undefeated on Monday night. The Cardinals (9-0) beat Chapman 76-60 in the second round of the Battle at the Border Shootout to advance to the tourney&39;s championship. Alex Wilson scored 29 points to lead the Cardinals. Jacob Hatchette added 20 points. DeShaun Hall scored 11 points and Jake McClure added nine points. Landrum will play Fort Mill, who beat Broome, in the finals tonight at 8:30 p.m.&bsp;Other scores:&ull;Polk County got it&39;s first win of the season on Monday night in the Battle at the Border Shootout.&bsp; The Wolverines beat Brevard 62-61. Polk will play Spartanbug Christian Academy today at 2:30 p.m. in the Consolation Finals.&ull;The Landrum girls&39; basketball team lost in the Battle at the Border Shootout semifinals on Monday night to Boiling Springs. The 4A Lady Bulldogs beat the Lady Cardinals&bsp; 51-47. Landrum will play Fort Mill today at 4 p.m. in the third place game.
