(photo submitted)More than 1,200 pounds of goodies are on their way to our soldiers just in time for Christmas.&bsp; Mill Spring Post Master Clark Moffitt has been helping to send boxes to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan from the &dquo;Singing for Soldiers&dquo; efforts. The most recent &dquo;Singing,&dquo; held at Saluda School, has kept Moffitt busier than usual. Working with several Military Chaplains in both countries, the local Polk County charity has touched thousands of lives.
