A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 at the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Saluda at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends after the service in the parish hall.

A lover of animals, she wished that any donations would go to either PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) or the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
