Disk and Email Requirements:

1. Only PC formatted diskettes will be accepted with the following requirements:

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;a. Diskettes must be accompanied by a clear hard copy (print out), INCLUDING both text and photos. &bsp;&bsp; &bsp;&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;b. Photos must be scanned at a resolution no lower than 200 dpi, either .tif or .jpg format.

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;c. Text must be either in .rtf, .txt or .doc format

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;d. Specific requests for layouts or font types are subject to availability. We do not import fonts.

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;e. The TDB uses an 85-line screen for newspaper press. We recommend a 75-line screen for output from home computers.

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;f. Must be in-house by deadline date, which is 2nd Thursday of each month.

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;g. We use Adobe Photoshop 7, Pagemaker 6.5 and Adobe InDesign 3.0, and can accept native files from these programs.

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;h. WE DO NOT ACCEPT Microsoft Publisher, Office, Powerpoint or Works documents. We also cannot accept Quark or Quark Express files.

&bsp;&bsp; &bsp;i. Ads may be submitted in PDF format as an attachment to an email sent to prod@tryondailybulletin.com. Subject of the email must be Appointments. Please embed all fonts.For more information call 828-859-9151.
