Connie Fowler

A native of Holly Springs, daughter of the late Thomas C. and Emma Campbell Clayton, she was a retired employee of Saybrook Mills, and a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church.

Surviving are: a son, Alvin Dean Fowler of Wellford; two daughters, Sue F. Hutchins of Spartanburg, and Sarah F. Sain of Tryon; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Fowler was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest Clayton, John Clayton, and Buford Clayton; and two sisters, Oshy Clayton, and Cren C. Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 at Little Mountain Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ansel Norris, and Rev. Josh Phillips. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 at Little Mountain Baptist Church.

The families are at their respective homes.
