He was the son of the late Buford Paul and Ruby Satterfield Fowler. He was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.

Fowler was survived by one son, Glenn Allen Fowler of Campobello; two sisters, Dolores Roe of Spartanburg, and Cheryl Lawson of Greenville, S.C.; one brother, Carl and his wife Brenda Fowler of Spartanburg, and one grandson, Jeremy Fowler of Spartanburg.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. officiated by Rev. Thomas Smith.

The family will be at the home of Libby and Steve Mooneyham, 126 Woodcreek Drive, Spartanburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 210 Rainbow Lake Road, Boiling Springs, S.C. 29316.

Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs is in charge of arrangements.
