Mary Ridings

She is the wife of James Ridings of the residence and the daughter of the late Andrew and Ollie Blackwell Jackson. She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church and a native of Cherokee County.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, James A. Ridings of Campobello, William P. Ridings of Chesnee; five daughters, Mary Sue Fowler of Chesnee, Polly Blackwell of Campobello, Lula Mae Griffin of Chesnee, Jean Pruitt of Campobello and Tonya Ridings of Campobello; two brothers, Billy Jackson and Buford Jackson both of Chesnee; two sisters, Lora Lancaster of Henrietta, N.C., Betty Jo Wood of Chesnee and a sister-in-law Betty Jackson of Chesnee; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at Broad River Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Tommy Turner, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be at North Pacolet Road, Campobello.
