Keith Norstrom

A Chicago, Ill., native, he was born Jan. 29, 1924. He was the son of the late Harry and Lillian Norstrom of Barrington, Ill., and had a brother, the late Earl Norstrom.

Keith served in the United States Air Force in the Pacific during WWII and upon returning home entered Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and was a member of the Sigma XI Fraternity. He was very active in the Swedish Club and the Svithoid Swedish Club of Chicago in their world renowned Swedish Male Glee Club. He was well known throughout the Chicago area as a member of the Norseman Quartet as their lead singer.

He retired from AFLAC in 1990, well before the Duck!, and loved this mountain home with endless opportunities to continue his hobbies.

Survivors include his wife of more than 40 years, Liz Norstrom&bsp; of the home, one nephew, David Norstrom and his wife Mary Claire and their two children, Erik and Grant of Rochester, Mich., and a niece, Lisa Pierce and her husband Ted and their three children, Rick, Caroline, and David of Buffalo, N.Y.

There will not be a memorial service in honor of this sweet and gentle man, as those who knew him will rejoice each and every day when they think of him, his music, his joy of living, his love of family, and friends.
