He was the son of the late William Frank and Imogene Smith Williamson and husband of Carolyn Diana Coggins Williamson.

He was of the Baptist faith, served in the U.S. Army and a retired mechanic.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Frankie Simpson of Inman and Eugenia Howard of Chesnee; a half brother, Glenn Pace of Landrum; two half sisters, Ann Pace, Judy Jennings both of Spartanburg and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at Petty Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Chad Rickenbaker.
