A native of Tucapau, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Rogers and Daisey Kyles Rogers. Mrs. Berry was a member of The Pentecostals of Spartanburg. She retired from S & S Manufacturing.

Survivors include a brother, Elmer Rogers of Fairmont, S.C.; two sisters, Mary Fortenberry of Greer and Alice Johnson of Campobello and special friends, Brenda Chapman and Miriam Hicks. Mrs. Berry was predeceased by a son, Alvin Berry and a sister, Dorothy Ridings.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept 29, 2008 at The Stribling Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Larry W. Wilks. Interment was at Bethany Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
