Margaret Taylor

She was a daughter of the late Paul Bryan O&squo;Shields and Louise Pettit O&squo;Shields.

Taylor attended Spartanburg High School. She was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Julia Robert Sunday school class. Taylor retired from Bank of America.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Alton Taylor of Lexington; son, Keith Taylor of Landrum; daughter, Karen Taylor Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah and formerly of Columbia, S.C.; sisters, Carolyn Lamm, Frances Bailie and Shirley Barnett, all of Spartanburg; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, S.C. 29072.
