Water gushed over the spillway at the Lake Lanier dam this week after the remnants of Tropical Storm Fay brought nearly seven inches of rain in a 48-hour period. Tryon Water Plant Supervisor Betty Jones said it was the about most water she&39;s seen flowing over the dam.
