Carson was born in Spartanburg on July 27, 2008.

In addition to his parents, other family members include a brother, Jacob Lindsey and a sister, Harley Lindsey, both of the home; paternal grandparents, Richard and Wanda Lindsey of Landrum, paternal great grandparents, Helen Lindsey of Landrum and the late Grady Lindsey, Lois Case of Saluda, and the late Ernest Case; maternal grandparents, Gayle and Theron McCants of Spartanburg and the late Jim Murray; maternal great grandparents, Merle and William Brady and the late Robert Quinn, and the late Harry and Lucile Murray.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum, conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, c/o: Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation, 101 East Wood Street Spartanburg, S.C. 29301.

Seawright Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
