Michael Wilkerson

Wilkerson was born in Newton, Ga., on November 12, 1977, the son of Wayne Leverette Wilkerson of Meansville, Ga., and Cynthia Elaine (Blanton) Knight of Campobello.

He was a graduate of the Chapman High School Class of 1996 and was a welder at Compleat Machine Works in Spartanburg.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by three sons, Shaun Michael Lancaster, Ronald Pierce Lancaster and Riley Bryce Wilkerson, all of Inman; two sisters, Keli Michelle Knight of Inman and Keela Haven Wilkerson of Meansville, Ga.; maternal grandmother, Frances McArthur of Inman and paternal grandmother Quincy Farrow Wilkerson of Meansville, Ga., and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece.

Funeral services were held at Mill Creek Church of The Brethren on Monday, July 28, with Rev. Noel Naff officiating. Burial was in Mill Creek Church of The Brethren Cemetery.

Memorials maybe made to the Mill Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery Fund, 1401 Coxe Rd.,Tryon, N.C. 28782.

Seawright Funeral Home and Crematory of Inman was in charge of arrangements.
