&bsp;Many riders participated in the 25th annual Fabulous 4th Metric Century Bicycle Tour on July 4 in Tryon. The event, which is sponsored by the Thermal Belt Rotary Club and donates profits to charities in Polk County and upstate South Carolina, began at Harmon Field with a mass start at 8 a.m.&bsp; Approximately 600 riders were expected to participate in the event.
