Born in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Horace and Fannie Jones Hodge. He was a member of Green Creek Baptist Church where he had perfect attendance for many years.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Reba Hodge; two nieces, Lisa Hodge Roth of Hillsboro, Ore. and Loretta H. Childress of Aiken, S.C.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June11, 2008 at

11 a.m. in Green Creek First Baptist Church, with Rev. Allen McKinney officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in Green Creek First Baptist Church.
