Stony Knoll ‘Festival and Fun Day’ this weekend

Stony Knoll Community Center will hold its first &dquo;Festival and Fun Day&dquo; this evening and Saturday at Stearns Park in downtown Columbus.

Tonight from 6 until 10 p.m. rides and food will be available. Saturday, rides and food will be available from 10 a.m. to

10 p.m.

Entertainment is scheduled hourly, beginning at 1 p.m. with the Polk County High School Show Choir. At 2 p.m. Carey Upton and Woody Cowan and at 3 p.m., Dance Dynamics will perform. At 4 p.m., Various Singers are scheduled.

In addition, have your blood pressure checked, get information about local places of interest and buy something from the many vendors.

The Stony Knoll Community Center invites area residents to come out, bring the family, have a good time and support a good cause. Proceeds from the festival will go toward the renovation of the Stony Knoll Community Center and library.
