Sheriff’s office seeks information on suspects involved in high speed chase

On Monday May 19, 2008 3 a.m., Polk County Sheriff&squo;s Office deputies attempted to stop a light colored (possibly silver, grey or light blue) two-door coupe for a moving violation.

The vehicle failed to stop and a high speed pursuit ensued. The pursuit was terminated on Interstate 26 around exit 10 inside South Carolina. The driver of the vehicle was a white female appearing to be in her early twenties wearing a red and white sports dress with the number 13 on the back.

The passenger was a white male appearing to be in his early twenties wearing red gym shorts and a grey t-shirt.

Lt. Nicholas Stott with the sheriff&squo;s office says the two suspects ran out of the Texaco after slamming the door and left driving without lights on.
