The Polk County baseball team will travel to Cherryville on Tuesday night. The Wolverines and the Ironmen will play at 7 p.m. in a rematch of last year’s third round playoff matchup. This is the fourth round of the state playoffs.
The Lady Wolverine soccer team will be playing for the state championship on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Dixon at North Carolina State University.
