A memorial service for Leann Franklin Sasser Beaver of Tryon, who died April 6, will be held Saturday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church on Melrose Ave.,Tryon.

She was the daughter of Mary Kent Sasser and the late Donald Sasser. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Polk County American Red Cross, P.O. Box 807, Columbus, N.C. 28722.
