Dupre Lancaster
In the last few months, he was lovingly cared for by his devoted wife, family, friends, and the St. Francis Hospice Team.
A native of Polk County, he was a son of the late Rev. O. B. and Annie Belle Swain Lancaster. He was a graduate of Furman University, a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and a retired production engineer for J.P. Stevens and Co.
Surviving is his wife, Helen Fisher Lancaster of the home,one son, Keith Lancaster of Lakeland, Fla., a daughter, Jean Rose of Greer, S.C., three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Lancaster, and a sister, Jeanette Clifton.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 6 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Mark Smith. Burial was in the church cemetery.
