This year&squo;s golf tournament could help the Lady Wolverines escape the cold Western North Carolina temperatures this Christmas.

Polk hopes to to play in a Christmas basketball tournament in Orlando, Florida. Polk head coach Chris Mintz thought that sunshine and Mickey Mouse would be a fun experience for the large senior class he&squo;s got returning next season.

&dquo;I thought it&squo;d be fun to do something different,&dquo; he said.

&bsp;The golf tournament will take place on April 19 at Tryon Country Club.&bsp; Some money will also go to a junior varsity camp.The Lady Wolverines are currently looking for sponsors.
