Marjorie Yeager

Born in Somerville, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Ormsby Lee and Winifred Fisk Court and wife of Marshall D. Yeager. She and her husband moved to Polk County in 1994, coming from Glenview, Ill. in search of a better ride. Mrs. Yeager was an avid equestrian dressage rider and was a member of The Tryon Riding and Hunt Club, USDF and USEF. Marge was trotting down centerline for her final ride.

Surviving in addition to her husband is one daughter, Michele Adam Forbes of Fairfax Station, Va.; two sons, Bruce Adam of Des Plaines, Ill., and David Adam of Framingham, Mass.; one brother, Robert Court of Stoneham, Mass. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Trey and Ashley Forbes, Cameron Forbes Over and Eliot, Renee and David Adam.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 at Motlow Creek Equestrian Farm, 290 Stablegate Drive, at the residence of John and Laura Taylor, Campobello.
