Lois Horton

Mrs. Horton was born in Spartanburg on October 18, 1917, the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Mertie (Strange) Collins, was the wife of Rev. TJ Horton and was a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters, Peggy Loftis of Campobello, Gail Auble of Campobello, Carolyn Maupin of Landrum, Judy Tripp of Campobello, Sheila Bagshaw of Campobello; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Larry Horton.

She was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at Little Mountain Baptist Church, Inman, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, with Rev. Ansel Norris, Rev. Harold King and Rev. Josh Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Boiling Springs.

The family received friends Saturday 10-11 a.m. at Little Mountain Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, N.C. 28722.
