The Polk County snow-board team won a trophy for 2nd place overall, and a freshman, Sarah Angier, won the 3rd place medal in the girls ski division.

The PCHS race team consists of: Tucker Ennis, Trevor Ennis, Ethan Sessoms, Zach Stone, Jake Johnson, Mike Sawers, Will Myers, Will Habenicht, & Sam Basye (boarders), and Sarah Angier, Jack Mize, and Jim Mize (skiers).

The races were held each Wednesday night in January and February, with the season finals held on Sunday, March 2.

Thirteen area high schools participated in the Cata-loochee Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Challenge races.
