Lanier Library presents panel discussion on poetry

In celebration of the 20th National Poetry Month, Lanier Library will present, “Why Poetry?” on Tuesday, April 19. This panel discussion on the pleasures of poetry will feature local poets Nancy Pemberton, Greg Lobas and David Riddle.

This event, part of the library’s month-long celebration of poetry, will be held at the library at noon, and is free and open to the public. Those attending are welcome to bring a bag lunch to enjoy during the presentation.
