At First Baptist Church of Landrum, Thanksgiving Day was humming with activities.  Every year First Baptist Church offers a free Thanksgiving dinner to everyone. The Community Room was open for sharing a meal, conversation and take out with delivery to shut-ins. Starting days before, church volunteers start preparing for more than 600 dinners. Volunteers not only cook the turkeys and all the fixings, they also bake desserts and create festive decorations on each table. Pastor Mark Bishop said, “We want to pass on to our community what we have been blessed with over the years, and show the love of Christ in a practical way.” (Submitted by Anne Regan)
