Polk County Superior Court Administrative Session for Aug. 26

During a Polk County Criminal Superior Court Administrative Session on Aug. 26, 2015, with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 98 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Tammy Bradley Dunn was convicted of cruelty to animals. Dunn was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.

Connie Penfield Hamilton was convicted of three counts of misdemeanor larceny. Hamilton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $837 in restitution and court costs.

Tracy Penfield Rollins was convicted of three counts of obtaining property under false pretenses and possession of stolen goods/property. Rollins was sentenced to 30 months supervised probation, $837 in restitution and court costs.

Lucas Denton Scoggins was convicted of level one driving while impaired. Scoggins was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credit for time served.

Darrell James Waters was convicted of felony probation violation. Waters’ probation was revoked.
