The Spartanburg County Council passed a resolution opposing the Duke Energy Western Carolinas Modernization Project on Monday, Aug. 17. Additionally, a Public Service Commission of South Carolina public hearing will be held at Landrum High School at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, according to county council member Bob Walker (District 5). More information will be provided in Thursday’s newspaper.
