Like any great period piece, “Big River” features costumes that take you back to a different time.  Set in the mid-1800s, “Big River” is the musical adventure of Huckleberry Finn, Big Jim and many other beloved characters from Mark Twain.

Recreating the clothes from antebellum Mississippi is no easy task, but Tryon Little Theatre’s costumers were up for it!  Led by triple-threat costumers Chris, Kate, and Maggie Reidy, the costume team worked with each actor to create the perfect look.

Big River runs February 19-22 at the Tryon Fine Arts Center.  Tickets are available by calling the box office at 828-859-2466.
