Polk County District Court results for Nov. 19

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 193 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Salinda Balbeersingh was convicted of impaired equipment. Balbeersingh was fined $40 and court costs.

Adam Isaiah Casey was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Casey was fined $50 and court costs.

Edward Huxley Dick was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Dick was sentenced to two years probation, 48 hours in jail with credit, a $300 fine and court costs. Corey Randal Dinsmore was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dinsmore was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Barbara Doss Dunlap was convicted of impaired equipment. Dunlap was fined $40 and court costs.

Jennifer Spear Finley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Finley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Timothy Scotty Fowler was convicted of possession of schedule II control substance and carrying a concealed weapon. Fowler was sentenced to 83 days in jail with credit for time served.

Zachary Michael Kalt was convicted of impaired equipment. Kalt was fined $40 and court costs.

Marcus ONeal Kee was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Kee was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Macy Brooke Kinsey was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Kinsey was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.

Julian D. Lewis was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lewis was fined $95 and court costs.

Walter Alphonso Miller was convicted of failure to comply with monies. Miller’s sentence was modified to a 48-hour active sentence.

Nita Michelle Plumley was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Plumley ws sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.

Todd Handel Ramsey was convicted of probation violation. Ramsey was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Travis Deway Reynolds was convicted of possession of stolen goods. Reynolds was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Marlon Shane Ruff was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Ruff was to pay court costs.

Charles Bowen Schwab was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Schwab was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Kristina N. Stewart was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Stewart was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Sharon Lee Toomey was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Toomey was sentenced to two years supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $400 fine and court costs.

Edgar Raymond Underwood was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Underwood was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
