John S.  Lascoe, age 76, resident of Washington passed away on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at Karmanos Cancer Institute.

He was born Jan. 6, 1938 in Gary, Ind.to the late John and Katherine Lascoe.

He was the beloved husband of Joanne and the loving father of John J. (Pamela) Lascoe, Jason P. (Lori) Lascoe, Joan Marie (Robert) Battin, and Jerry (Dorene) Lascoe.  He was also the proud grandfather of Kirsten, John, Caroline, Iaon, Colton, Annalisa, Trey, Alayna, Pierce, and Clay.

Visitation at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks east of Van Dyke) Utica, Mich., Thursday and Friday from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. with a prayer service Thursday at 7 p.m. Saturday in state at 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 343 S. Honor Callaway

 

Tryon, N.C. (2005-2014); Dorset, Vt. (1972-2005)

Honor Dubuque Callaway, 82, passed away on Sept. 21, 2014.  She was the daughter of the late Robert J. Dubuque Jr. and Honor Lennie Dubuque of Skaneateles, NY.

She is survived by her daughter Cameron Merrow of Arlington, Va.; her daughter Laura Elliott of Washington, DC; her son Robert Derby of Potomac Falls, Va.; her son James Derby of Madison, Wis.; and eight grandchildren.

Honor was on the board of the Lanier Library and acted as its display chair; she was also an active volunteer at the St. Luke’s Thrift Shop.  While living in Vermont, Honor worked in hospice care and she was very involved with the Dorset Playhouse, doing behind the scenes production work in makeup, costumes and scenery.  She continued her volunteer theatre work after moving to Tryon at the Tryon Little Theatre and the Flat Rock Playhouse.
