Steven Larry Greene, age 58, of Greeneville died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Greene was a member of Mill Spring Baptist Church in North Carolina.

Mr. Greene is survived by his three children: Lyle and Angelina Greene, Shauna Greene and Scotty Greene; a special friend: Ruth Ann Price; 11 loving grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Conrad of Ohio and Evelyn Arrowood of N.C.; four brothers, Ronnie Greene of S.C., Kenny Greene of N.C., Danny Greene of N.C. and Gary Greene of S.C.; several nieces and nephews; special aunt, Pat Plumley of S.C.; special uncle, Donnie Greene of N.C.; special friends, Angie Fox, Bobby R. and Junior Sauceman and family.

Mr. Greene is preceded in death by his mother, Ida Virginia Greenway and father, Zeb Vance Greene.

Services for Mr. Greene will be announced at a later date.

The Greene family stated as a reminder: being miles apart should not separate families no matter what circumstances. We as a whole should put aside our differences and hard feelings and come together as one to forgive past mistakes as a true family does. Steven Larry Greene will not be forgotten.
