In Polk County Superior Court Administrative Session held Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 29 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Amanda Michelle Belue was convicted of four counts of probation violation. Belue’s probation was revoked.
Cliffor Oree Case Jr. was convicted of breaking and/or entering and larceny after break/enter. Case was sentenced to 16 to 29 months in prison with credit for 237 days served.
Nathan Wally Cross was convicted of felony probation violation out of county. Cross was sentenced to 15 days in jail then to terminate probation.
Julius Jamal Hannon was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Hannon’s probation was terminated.
Ronnie Dean Hawkins was convicted of felony probation violation. Hawkins’ probation was revoked.
Charles Wade Steiner was convicted of simple assault. Steiner was sentenced to 45 days in jail.
