Polk County district court results

In Polk County District Court Jan. 27, 2014 with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 210 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Franklin J. Abernathy was convicted of misdemeanor larceny by trick and misdemeanor larceny. Abernathy was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, $1,000 in restitution and court costs.

Ronald H. Atkins was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Atkins was fined $50 and court costs.

Brittany Hope Bagwell was convicted of aid and abet larceny and felony larceny. Bagwell was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, $1,000 in restitution and court costs.

Joseph Klatzk Barroll was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Barroll was fined $300 and court costs.

Thomas William Carr was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Carr was fined $40 and court costs.

Ashley Anne Carrigg was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone and no operator’s license. Carrigg was fined $95 and court costs.

Justin Lee Carroll was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-front seat. Carroll was fined $25.50 and court costs.

Joshua Dale Cassada was convicted of level five driving while impaired and speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cassada was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs for driving while impaired and fined $50 and court costs for speeding.

Jeffrey Lynn Chesney was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Chesney was fined $200 and court costs.

William Jordan Daniel was convicted of possess of methamphetamine and possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver methamphetamine. Daniel was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Jessica Mejia Delgado was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21, consume alcohol by under 19 year old and speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Delgado was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.

Brian Howell Dodds was convicted of resisting public officer and driving while license revoked. Dodds was fined $150 and court costs.

Derek Thomas Fernanders was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Fernanders was fined $100 and court costs.

Ivan Huerta was convicted of level five driving while impaired, driving while license revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. Huerta was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Ryan Lindsay King was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. King was fined $200 and court costs.

Jonathan R. Lee was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Lee was fined $50 and court costs.

Thomas Gordon Mann Jr. was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Mann was fined $75 and court costs.

Paul Louis Melchiorre was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Melchiorre was fined $300 and court costs.

David Eugene Melton was convicted of operating a
vehicle with impaired equipment. Melton was fined $100 and court costs.

Miguel Moreno-Garcia was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Moreno-Garcia was fined $93 and court costs.

Marshall J. Nicholson was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Nicholson was fined $90 and court costs.

David Rex Norris was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Norris was fined $40 and court costs.

Kishorbhai Bhaga Patel was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Patel was fined $200 and court costs.

Lora Elizabeth Raines was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Raines was fined $96 and court costs.

Dennis Preston Redick was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Redick was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $175 fine and court costs.

Kenneth Bernard Rogers was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Rogers was fined $40 and court costs.

Bradley Reece Roland was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Roland was fined $200 and court costs.

Robert G. Toews was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Toews was fined $92 and court costs.

Danny Thai Vo was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Vo was fined $92 and court costs.

Paul William West was convicted of level five driving while impaired. West was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Shaquille T. Wilkins was convicted of consume alcohol by 19/20 year old. Wilkins was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Monica Ashley Hart was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Hart was to pay court costs.

Patrick Earl Otto was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Otto was fined $40 and court costs.

Tammy Renee Page was convicted of resist, obstruct and delay. Page was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

Taren Edward Tyler was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Tyler was fined $40 and court costs.

Driessche Candance Van was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive. Van was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.

Charles Edward Whitaker was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Whitaker was fined $30 and court costs.

George Roy Zepeda was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Zepeda was fined $40 and court costs.
