Tryon Arts and Crafts School Fall Festival scheduled for Oct. 12-13

There will be barbecue from Foothills Barbecue and wood fired pizza by Jose Rivera. Miniature horses will be on display on Sunday and Chris Carroll will demonstrate on his portable saw mill both days.

Inside the school building, the annual silent auction fundraiser is set up in the main gallery.  Items up for bid include services and goods from local businesses, art from local artists and many utilitarian items donated by members and the community.

The auction bidding starts on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and will end at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.- The studios are open to visitors with demonstrations going on from time to time.

The Tryon Arts and crafts Fall Festival is an annual event. It is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Come and get a jump on your holiday shopping while visiting with local artists and friends in the beautiful foothills of Polk County.
