Polk sheriff’s office report

During the week from Jan. 23 through Jan. 30, 2013, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 206 calls for service.

Officers made 12 arrests, served 23 criminal papers, 22 civil papers and 12 citations, including seven for speeding and two for no operator’s license.

Officers completed 407 church checks, 713 business checks, assisted the public seven times and patrolled 7,173 miles.
