Angie Alma Foster McAbee, 88, of 1062 West Mills Street, Columbus, passed away Saturday, December 15, at her residence.

Angie was born in Lynn, N.C. on June 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Pearl (Hudson) and Joseph Henry Foster. She was the widow of John Franklin McAbee, a homemaker and a dedicated and active member of Southside Baptist Church in Landrum.

Angie is survived by three daughters, Jean Gosnell of Landrum; Terry Butler of Landrum; Donna Ray Grigg of Columbus; Angie is also survived by three sisters, Genell Campbell of Landrum; Freda Plumley of Landrum; Annie Bridgeman of Saluda; a brother, Brad Foster of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Danny Grigg, Anthony Grigg, Devin Gosnell, Whitney Gosnell, Jonathan Butler, Joseph Butler and Joshua Butler; three great-grandchildren, Natalie Grigg, Maggie Grigg and Christian Gosnell. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18 at 2 p.m. at South Side Baptist Church, Landrum. Rev. Wayne Bradley and Rev. Lynn Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Redeemed Baptist Church Cemetery, Landrum, S.C.
